Weekend Getaway at The Hideout Chalet Just 40 minutes from home, this beautifully decorated chalet made for a perfect retreat—whether for a romantic escape, a lively weekend with friends, or family fun. The interior felt cozy yet modern, with thoughtful touches like a vintage vinyl player and charming little extras that made the space feel special. Rainy days? No problem! There’s a great selection of board games on hand (or feel free to bring your favorites). For the kids, the indoor clubhouse was a clear winner—packed with activities and featuring a full indoor basketball court that kept everyone entertained. Convenience, style, and comfort all in one spot. It’s the kind of place you find yourself planning to return to before you’ve even left. We had a small hiccup learning the traditional coffee maker—our Keurig habits betrayed us! But once we got it going, we really enjoyed the complimentary coffee station, complete with a s’mores kit and a lovely bottle of wine that felt like a welcome hug.
